Parton Comet 2007 - 2016
The first week of December 2016 was a sad time at Longley Whitebred Shorthorns, we had to say goodbye to Parton Comet.
He had been a tremendous ambassador for the Whitebred Shorthorn breed having attended many demonstrations over the years.
His record shows visits to the National Beef Association events in England and Scotland, many appearances at Borderway Agri Expo at Carlisle, and, he meet hundreds of people on the Rare Breeds Survival Trust stand at the Royal Highland Show.
During the whole of his life his overwhelming attribute was his temperament. His laid back, easy going, attitude to life which he passed on to his offspring.
He will be greatly missed.
